haven’t heard? robert kirkman, the critically acclaimed author of the invincible comic line, is continuing his hit comic marvel zombies. the story takes place in an alternate marvel universe, also known as theĀ multiverse, on earth 2149. almost all of marvel have become flesh eating zombies, silver surfer and galactus not excluded.
the new story line is out today and takes place 45 years after the first story arc. being dubbed the marvel zombies civil war, the sophomore attempt seems more than promising.
captain america returns, gun in hand
October 16, 2007
ed brubaker, the comic writer best known for killing american hero captain america, has revealed a shocking new image and story for the continuing captain america comic book. according to brubaker, this current arc has been planned for a long time and is not a knee-jerk reaction to the traumatic death of the american super soldier.
as of now, no word has been released on the secret identity of the new captain america. speculations range from ex-cap partner bucky barnes (now known as the winter soldier) to clint barton (the current ronin) to marvel’s most popular vigilante the punisher.
despite all these rumors, most signs are pointing to a relatively unknown existing marvel character or a brand new person all together.
